That Dam Run!!April 17th, 2010
That Dam Run was a lot of fun! On Saturday morning, 14 runners had a beautiful run on the trails and roads beside the Saint John RIver . The challenging route took them from the start at St. Theresa's church, west to the Mouth of Keswick, up the killer hill at Keswick Ridge, across the Mactaquac Dam, through Islandview and on to the finish at TIm Hortons on the Woodstock Road. The runners were supported along the way by Les and Julien who provided food and encouragement. There were 5 runners who did the full 34 km run. They are Lucia, Josh, Sandy, Dee and Charles. The others completed distances between 14 and 21k. They are Harry, Liz, Mark, Christine, Amelia, Ann, Sylvie, Henny, and Jim. The earliest start award goes to Harry who left home at 7:25 am and was the first 21km runner across the finish line.
